Fish Cleaning Station:
The Port received partial funding from the Oregon Fisheries Restoration and Enhancement Act of 1989 to install a fish cleaning station near the historic locks. It is equipped with a cutting board, faucets and grinder. It is located on the east side of the restrooms.
New Floating Dock:
In May 2008 the Port of Cascade Locks received a matching grant from the Oregon State Marine Board (OSMB) for the replacement of the floating dock at the boat launch in the Marine Park . The OSMB is Oregon's recreational boating agency, dedicated to safety, education and access in an enhanced environment. The contract was awarded to Dennis Snyder Jr. Contractors who coordinated the removal and installation of the new dock.
Beach Lighting:
In preperation for the Moth Class World Championships held in the Marine Park Aug 6-18, 2009 the Port installed three new parking lot lights to illuminate the parking lot and beach head near the marina.
